Dan Schuler
MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR
Dan Schuler brings to the Windhorse team over fifteen years of experience working with adolescents and their families as a school adjustment counselor. Dan, who currently leads the Beacon program at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School, specializes in anxiety, depression, and perfectionism, and seeks to help folks manage the pressures life puts on us all. Dan's clinical style is marked by warmth, humor, music, and the influence of the great outdoors. With flexibility and experience up and down the age range, Dan understands that the hallmarks of adolescent development are truly present for every client as they work to refine their identity and solidify their place in an ever-changing world.
Prior to his role in school counseling, Dan worked for several years at a small private school for children with autism diagnoses, and subsequently pursued a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lesley University. A devoted father of two young children, Dan uses his precious free time to ski, hike, journal, see live music, and play the guitar and drums.
