About the event

Join us for a panel about modern masculinity, isolation, and how to show up in the world in 2024 as a male-identifying partner, professional, and father, alongside managing stressors and mental health.

Daniel Simone, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has worked in schools for over 25 years. Starting as a guidance counselor, Dan’s focus became more clinically focused, and in 2006 he began working at Concord Carlisle High School as an Adjustment Counselor where he currently works full time. An adjunct faculty member in the Graduate School of Arts and Social Sciences at Lesley University, Dan has been training counselors for 20 years. He earned his BA in Psychology from Boston College, his Master’s degree from Lesley University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and his Doctorate in Education from Northeastern University.In addition to his work in schools, he is a co-owner of Crooked Tree Counseling, LLC in Cambridge, MA - A group practice of clinicians offering counseling, consultation and supervision, where Dan consults with therapists and school counselors across the region.

Dan Schuler is currently a School Counselor at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, where he has been working for the last decade. He received a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. Dan is a musician and music lover, so he always tries to find ways to incorporate music into his counseling relationships.

Brian Reynolds, Ph.D. received his BA, MA, and PhD from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has run a private practice for adolescents and adults since 1981. He also has experience in private schools and corporate consulting within the financial industry. His approach focuses on collaborative goal setting built on empathy and the mutual understanding that both success and failure lead to learning and future success.
